Brief About Dr. Balaji Subramanian
Dr. Balaji Subramanian is a highly esteemed Radiation Oncologist based in Chennai, India. With over 13 years of experience, he is well-versed in the field of High Precision Radiotherapy and is actively involved in Preventive Oncology.
Dr. Subramanian actively participates in workshops and conferences, where he has presented numerous papers. He holds memberships in prestigious associations such as the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI) since 2010, the Tamil Nadu State Chapter of AROI since 2006, the National Academy of Medical Sciences, the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the Tamil Nadu Medical Council. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Subramanian is dedicated to research and has published several papers in both national and international journals. He completed his MBBS from Thanjavur Medical College in 2004, followed by a DMRT from Barnard Institute of Radiology and Oncology under Madras Medical College in Chennai from 2005 to 2007. He further pursued a DNB in Radiotherapy from Apollo Speciality Hospital in Chennai, passing the National Board Examination in December 2010.
Dr. Subramanian has also received specialized training in High Precision Radiotherapy, including 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT (Cyber Knife Frameless and Frame-based), and Brachytherapy for carcinoma of the Prostate, Cancer Cervix, Esophagus, and Berlin RA/IMRT Training from Chartie Hospital Berlin in 2014. His areas of special interest include Radiation Oncology, Cancer, Brain Tumor, and Breast Cancer.
