Brief About Dr. Deepak Natarajan
Dr. Deepak Natarajan, an esteemed Interventional Cardiologist based in New Delhi, India, boasts an impressive 35 years of experience in the field. He is recognized for his pioneering work in percutaneous mitral Balloon valvotomy using the Inoue Balloon Catheter. Dr. Natarajan holds the distinction of being the first cardiologist in India to introduce Intracoronary and Intravenous Streptokinase in the treatment of Acute Myocardial Infarction.
His areas of expertise include Complex Coronary Angioplasty and Stenting (bifurcation, CTO, and left main disease), Percutaneous Balloon Valvotomy, Biventricular Pacing for severe Heart Failure, ICD Implantation, and EP study.
Dr. Natarajan has received fellowships under the mentorship of renowned interventional cardiologists such as Prof Masakiyo Nobuyoshi of Japan, Prof Gary Roubin of the USA, and Prof Robert Greenbaum of the UK (with a special interest in EPS). Notably, he has served as the cardiologist to Two Prime Ministers and one President of India, as well as to numerous Cabinet Ministers and Chief Ministers.
