Dr. K R Suresh Bapu has 48 years of expertise as a highly-skilled neurosurgeon. Madurai Medical College is where he received his MBBS and MS degrees. He played a key influence in the development of Micro Neurosurgery in South Tamilnadu, India. Between 1982 and 2006, he taught several neurosurgeons at Government Medical Colleges.
In 1984, he was the first surgeon in South Tamilnadu to conduct a STA-MCA anastomosis. Furthermore, he is one of the few neurosurgeons who received his neurosurgery training under Prof. Gazi Yasargil of Zurich, Switzerland, in 1981-82. In addition, he has undergone Neurosurgery training programmes in numerous countries, including Switzerland, Japan, and the United States.
