Brief About Dr. Krishnam Raju
Dr. Krishnam Raju, a highly experienced Cardiac Surgeon based in Hyderabad, India, has been serving as a Consultant in the field for the past 43 years. He holds an MBBS degree from Guntur Medical College, Guntur, which he obtained in 1969. In addition, he completed his DM in Cardiology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, in 1978.
Dr. Raju’s contributions to the medical field are commendable. He has authored 5 book chapters and has made over 150 presentations at both international and national conferences. Furthermore, he has published more than 40 articles, showcasing his dedication to advancing knowledge in the field of Cardiology.
Notably, Dr. Raju has played a pivotal role in establishing several pioneering medical facilities in India. He introduced the first 2-D Echo Lab in the country at AIIMS, New Delhi, in 1978. Additionally, he established the first Echo Lab in Andhra Pradesh at Gandhi Hospital in 1980. Furthermore, he was instrumental in setting up the first TEE Lab in India at Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad.
