Brief About Dr. Parimala Devi
Dr. Parimala Devi is a highly respected Gynecologist and Obstetrician with over 35 years of experience. She is based in Bangalore, India and is currently affiliated with Fortis Hospital on Bannerghatta Road. Dr. Devi specializes in a wide range of procedures including Intra-Uterine Insemination, Cervical cerclage, colposcopy, infertility treatment, hysteroscopy, and salpingo-oopherectomy, among others.
She completed her MBBS from Karnataka Medical College, Hubli in 1982, followed by DGO in 1984. In 1985, she obtained her MD from Karnataka Medical College. Dr. Devi has also received specialized training in FICS from Birmingham, UK in 1998, as well as FICOG. Additionally, she completed a WHO Fellowship in Safe Motherhood.
Dr. Devi has been recognized for her exceptional contributions to the field of gynecology and obstetrics. She has been honored with the Aryabhatta Award, Mother Teresa Award, and a Gold Medal for Active Management of Septic Abortion by the Rotary Club Bangalore in 1998.
Currently, Dr. Parimala Devi is an active member of the Bangalore Society of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Karnataka Medical Council.
