Dr. R S Rai, a renowned Urologist in Mohali, India, has an impressive 37 years of experience. He currently serves as the Head of Department at Max Superspecialty Hospital in Mohali. Dr. Rai began his medical journey in 1984 upon completing his MBBS from Nalanda Medical College & Hospital, Patna. He then joined the Indian Army Medical Corps, where he pursued his post-graduation (MS) in Surgery from Delhi University (Army Hospital, R & R) and specialized in Urology with an M Ch from PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Dr. Rai has further honed his skills through training in urodynamics, laparoscopy, RIRS, and the use of laser technology (KTP/Holmium) in urology. He actively participates in workshops and CMEs to stay updated on the latest advancements in the field. In recognition of his outstanding service, Dr. Rai was honored with the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Medal in 2007. His areas of special interest include Endo-Urology, Andrology, and Advanced Lab Urology.
