He obtained his MBBS degree from Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, Gulbarga in 1989, followed by an MD in General Medicine from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 1995.
Dr. Ramachandra further pursued a dual DNB in Nephrology from Jaslok Hospital and Research Center, Mumbai, and the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, between 1995 and 1997. Additionally, he holds a DM in Adult Nephrology from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, achieved from 1998 to 2001. His areas of expertise encompass a wide range of nephrological specialties, including the treatment and prevention of acute renal disease, renal biopsies, CKD management through haemodialysis and CAPD, kidney transplantation, critical care nephrology involving CRRT and plasmapheresis, various procedures related to kidney diseases such as dialysis catheter and Permcath insertion, renal biopsy, as well as conducting CME’s and Mortality meetings.
Dr. Ramachandra has been invited to deliver numerous lectures at both national and international events and has contributed to several peer-reviewed journals with his publications. His special interests lie in haemodialysis, CAPD, kidney transplantation, critical care nephrology, procedures in kidney diseases, dialysis techniques including peritoneal dialysis, hypertensive medication, nephrology in the ICU, and transplant nephrology.
