Dr. Shafeeq Mattummal is an esteemed Interventional Cardiologist with over 18 years of successful practice. He is currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Meitra Hospital in Calicut, India.
Dr. Mattummal specializes in a wide range of cardiac interventions, including Complex Coronary Angioplasty, Structural Adult Congenital and Valvular Interventions, and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI). Additionally, he is skilled in performing procedures such as Intracardiac Shunt Device Closures, LA Appendage Closures in AF patients, Septal Ablation for HOCM, Peripheral and Carotid Angioplasty and Stenting, EVAR, Balloon Valvuloplasty, Device Closure of ASD, VSD, PDA, and Permanent Pacemaker Implantation.
