Brief About Dr. Venkata Rayudu Nekkanti
Dr. Venkata Rayudu Nekkanti is a highly esteemed Interventional Cardiologist with over 32 years of successful practice. He has been recognized for his exceptional service in the field, receiving the best service award by the Andhra Pradesh Government for performing the first Renal Angioplasty in India.
Dr. Nekkanti specializes in a wide range of cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting, vascular surgery, coronary angiogram, angioplasty, heart valve replacement, and endovascular stent grafting. He obtained his MBBS degree from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada in 1975, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad in 1981, and a DM in Cardiology from Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad in 1992.
Dr. Nekkanti has been recognized for his research contributions, receiving the best paper award from the Indian Academy of Echocardiography. He is an active member of prestigious medical associations such as the Cardiovascular Society of India, Kolkata, Indian Medical Association, and Indian College of Cardiology, Bangalore. Dr. Nekkanti has also participated in the American College of Cardiology 60th Annual Scientific Session and Innovation. His special interests include Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator, Transesophageal Echocardiogram, Permanent Pacemaker, and Balloon Mitral Valvotomy.
