Brief About Hitesh Gurjar
Dr. Hitesh Gurjar is an Interventional Cardiologist based in Chandigarh, India, with an impressive 34 years of experience in the field. He obtained his MBBS degree from Dr. S. N. Medical College, Jodhpur, in 1999, and went on to complete his MD in Internal Medicine at PGIMER Institute, Chandigarh. Dr. Gurjar has been a pioneer in various groundbreaking procedures in Punjab, excluding Tricity.
He was the first Cardiologist to successfully implant a 3T MRI Pacemaker, utilize Catheter-directed pharmacomechanical treatment for Pulmonary embolism, employ Catheter-directed thrombolysis (CDT) for acute limb ischemia, and introduce intra-arterial thrombolysis for acute stroke patients in the region. His exceptional contributions have been recognized through a fellowship from the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC).
Dr. Hitesh Gurjar has also published numerous articles in esteemed international journals and has presented his exceptional work at various national and international platforms.
