Dr. Mishra has successfully performed over 1200 Endocrine & Breast Surgeries. In 1989, he established the first Academic department of Endocrine Surgery in India at SGPGI, Lucknow, and introduced the first exclusive surgical service for endocrine surgical disorders in the country. His expertise includes Thymus Surgeries for Myasthenia Gravis, Breast & Thyroid Cancer Surgeries, Diabetic Foot Surgeries, among others.
