Brief About Assoc. Prof. Hakan Seyit
Assoc. Prof. Hakan Seyit is a highly experienced General Surgeon based in Istanbul, Turkey. With over 15 years of expertise, he specializes in a range of surgical procedures including Obesity surgery, Laparoscopic hernia surgery, and Endoscopic interventional procedures. He completed his Bachelor’s in Medicine from Mersin University Medicine Faculty in 1998 and went on to pursue a Postgraduate/Proficiency in Art/Specialty in Medicine from General Surgery Mersin University Medicine Faculty in 2005. Assoc. Prof. Hakan Seyit is an esteemed member of various professional associations such as the Turkish Surgical Association, the Turkish Association of Colon and Rectum Surgery, and the Turkish Bariatric Surgery Association. He is also an International Active Member of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES). Throughout his career, he has undertaken certified courses on various surgical techniques and technologies, including Da Vinci Robotic Surgery Technology Console Surgeon certification in 2022. Assoc. Prof. Hakan Seyit has contributed to numerous publications and has a special interest in Laparoscopic oncological surgery, Obesity surgery, Laparoscopic hernia surgery, and Robotic surgery.
