Dr. A.S.V. Narayana Rao is an experienced Interventional Cardiologist based in Hyderabad, India. With a career spanning 27 years, he has established himself as a Senior Consultant in his field. Dr. Rao obtained his MBBS degree from Acharya Nagarjuna University in 1985, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Andhra Pradesh University in 1988 and a DM in Cardiology from the same university in 1992. He is a proud member of prestigious medical associations such as the Cardiological Society of India (CSI), Indian Medical Association (IMA), and Indian College of Cardiology (ICC).
Dr. Rao’s expertise lies in various procedures including Angiogram, Dextro-Transposition of the Great Arteries (DTGA), Cardiac Catheterisation, Vascular Surgery, and TMT. He has also co-authored the book “Radial Pearls – a Handbook on Tips & Techniques of Radial Interventions” and actively participates as a co-investigator in Polycap and Metafor Studies. Dr. Rao has been invited as a faculty member to numerous State, National, and International Cardiology Conferences, where he has presented challenging cases of Coronary Interventions. His special interest lies in Interventional Cardiology.
