Brief About Dr. Abhay Uppe
Dr. Abhay Uppe is a highly regarded Pulmonologist with over 17 years of successful practice in Mumbai, India. He is a distinguished member of various professional organizations including the Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine, Indian Academy of Allergy & Applied Immunology, Indian Chest Society, and Indian Association of Bronchology.
Dr. Uppe completed his MBBS from the University of Mumbai in 1996, followed by TDD in 2001 and MD – Chest Medicine in 2002, both from the same university. In 2009, he also obtained a Fellowship in Pulmonology from the American College of Chest Physician. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Uppe has contributed to numerous publications and journals, and has presented his research findings at national and international conferences. His areas of expertise include anaerobic lung disease, Allergy and Immunotherapy, Farmer lung disease, and various rare fungal diseases.
Dr. Uppe has a special interest in the treatment of asthma, biopsy, chest pain, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, obstructive sleep apnea, sleep disorders, and tuberculosis.
