Brief About Dr. Adel Zaatar
Dr. Adel Zaatar, a distinguished Medical Oncologist in Penang, has been practicing for four decades. He is recognized as a pioneer in Radiotherapy & Oncology in Malaysia. Dr. Zaatar specializes in treating various solid tumors, including those affecting the breast, lung, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, nasopharynx, and head & neck. He is a founding member of the Penang Breast Care Society and a member of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (AMM). With numerous publications and articles to his credit, Dr. Adel Zaatar obtained his medical degree from Mansoura Medical School in Cairo, Egypt. He also holds diplomas in Radiology Therapy and Medical Radio-Diagnosis from prestigious institutions in Cairo and London, respectively. Fluent in English and Arabic, Dr. Zaatar’s primary interests lie in Oncology and Radiotherapy.
