Dr. Ahmet Alanay is a well-known Spine Surgeon, Orthopaedist, and Traumatologist who has been in practice for over 24 years. His area of expertise includes Paediatric and Adult Spinal Disorders.
Dr. Ahmet was instrumental in introducing new spine surgery approaches such as the Vertebroplasty technique for vertebral fractures, the Neuro-monitorization technique for scoliosis surgeries, magnetically controlled growing rods for early-onset Scoliosis, and the Anterior Thoracoscopic tethering technique for scoliosis treatment in Turkey.
Furthermore, he is active in the education of future surgeons all over the world. Meanwhile, for his contributions to spine surgery, he has also received numerous national and international honors. In addition, he is a founding member of the European Spinal Study Group (ESSG).
