Brief About Dr. Akshita Singh
Dr. Akshita Singh is a Surgical Oncologist based in Bangalore, India, with over 14 years of experience. She specializes in breast cancer and breast reconstruction using myocutaneous flaps and oncoplastic procedures. Dr. Singh completed her MBBS from B.J Medical College, Pune, and pursued DNB in General Surgery from P.D.Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Mumbai. She further enhanced her expertise by completing an HBNI fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and obtaining MRCS from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr. Akshita has actively contributed to the field through her involvement in the Basic & Translational Research Laboratory & Clinician Scientist Laboratory for several years. She has presented and published numerous research articles and abstracts at various national and international conferences and journals. Additionally, she serves as a co-investigator for a translational research project and is associated with three institutional review boards.
