Brief About Dr. Alka Ashmita Singhal
Dr. Alka Ashmita Singhal is a distinguished Interventional Radiologist with 25 years of experience, based in Gurgaon, India. She is a Senior Consultant at Medanta – The Medicity in Gurgaon.
Dr. Singhal specializes in various ultrasound techniques including Thyroid, Parathyroid, Obstetrics, Gynaecological Doppler 3D, 4D, Elastography, Musculoskeletal, and Contrast Ultrasound (CEUS). She has been recognized with the Best Talent Award for her Faculty Talk on Parathyroid Ultrasound Imaging at Ultrafest in 2016.
Dr. Singhal actively participates in Workshops and Conferences, often as a Guest Faculty. She is a member of esteemed associations such as the Indian College of Radiology and Imaging, Indian Society of Thyroid Surgeons, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Society, Indian Society of Paediatric Radiology, Indian Radiology and Imaging Association, Breast Imaging Society of India, European Society of Radiology, Korean Society of Radiology, and Indian Society of Oncology.
Dr. Singhal is also involved in research and has numerous publications in reputable National and International Journals. Her special interests include Doppler and Vascular Imaging, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, Ultrasound Neck (thyroid, parathyroid), Obstetrics and Gynaecology 3D, 4D and Doppler, Musculoskeletal imaging and CEUS, as well as Hepatic, renal transplant, and peripheral vascular Doppler.
