Dr Amitabha Chakrabarti is a renowned cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon who is affiliated with NH Rabindranath Tagore International Institute Of Cardiac Sciences and Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Shibpur, in Kolkata. With an impressive 37 years of experience in the field of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, he has established himself as an expert in various cities across India. Previously, he was associated with Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Jessore Road, Kolkata.
Dr Amitabha Chakrabarti is widely recognized for his pioneering work in Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS) and robotic thoracic procedures. He has successfully handled numerous complex medical cases in multiple hospitals, showcasing his expertise in accurate diagnosis and empathetic patient care. His speciality interests include robotic surgery, thoracic and vascular surgery, thoracic onco surgery, robotic lung resection, robotic chest tumor resection, and VATS thoracic surgeries.
Dr Chakrabarti obtained his MBBS degree from Calcutta University in 1987, followed by a DNB in General Surgery from the National Board of Examination in 2000.
