Brief About Dr. Amitabha Chattopadhyay
Dr. Amitabha Chattopadhyay is a highly experienced pediatric cardiologist based in Bangalore, India. With over 25 years of practice, he has developed expertise in various areas including Echocardiography, Device closure of ASD, VSD, PDA and Coronary Cameral Fistula, Stenting, Valvuloplasties, and Coarctoplasty. Dr. Chattopadhyay is a distinguished member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Cardiological Society of India, and The Pediatric Cardiac Society of India.
He completed his post-graduation from VIMS, Kolkata after obtaining his MBBS degree, and further pursued DCH, DNB, and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology. Dr. Chattopadhyay also underwent specialized training in pediatric cardiology at RTIICS and the Children’s Hospital Westmead, Sydney. His contributions to the field are evident through his numerous publications in national and international journals. His special interests lie in Stenting, Valvuloplasties, Coarctoplasty, Device closure of ASD, VSD, PDA, and Coronary Cameral Fistula.
