Brief About Dr. Amrita Ramaswami
Dr. Amrita Ramaswami is an experienced Medical Oncologist and Haemato Oncologist with over 8 years of expertise. She possesses exceptional skills in high dose therapy and autologous stem cell rescue for multiple myeloma.
Dr. Ramaswami obtained her MBBS degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, followed by an MD from Madurai Medical College, Madurai, and a DM in Clinical Haematology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). In recognition of her outstanding performance, she was awarded a Gold medal in Pathology for the year 2003 by JIPMER, Pondicherry.
Her areas of specialization include Malignant hematological disorders, Bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, and Lumbar puncture. Dr. Ramaswami also has a special interest in Benign haematological disorders and continues to contribute significantly to the field.
