Brief About Dr. Arun Kumar Chopra
Dr. Arun Kumar Chopra is a distinguished Interventional Cardiologist with over 26 years of extensive experience. He specializes in performing various coronary and non-coronary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Dr. Arun has successfully conducted more than 22,000 catheterizations, including nearly 5000 angioplasties, 1500 balloon valvuloplasties, and stenting procedures for peripheral, renal, and carotid arteries. He obtained his MBBS from Government Medical College Patiala in 1989, MD Medicine in 1994, and DM in Cardiology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi in 1997.
Dr. Arun has also held positions as a Research Associate and Assistant Professor at AIIMS in 2002. His special interests include device closure for congenital heart diseases, FFR (Fractional flow reserve), Dobutamine Stress Test, PAMI, Trans-esophageal ECHO, Temporary Pacemaker, Colour Doppler, Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring, Holter Monitoring, 2D – Echocardiography (2D-Echo), Echocardiography Stress Echocardiography, Fetal Echocardiography, and Cardioversion.
