Dr. Ashar Abdullah is a highly experienced Obstetrician & Gynecologist with a remarkable 32-year career.
He has received prestigious awards including Darjah Dato’ Paduka Mahkota Perak (DPMP) in 2006, Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang in 2005, and Setia Mahkota Pahang in 1998. Dr. Abdullah is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in the United Kingdom since 2004.
His professional background includes roles such as Clinical Specialist & Lecturer at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) from 1992 to 1995, Registrar (Obstetricians and Gynecologists) at Royal Infirmary & Maternity in Glasgow from 1988 to 1989, and Medical Officer (Urology) at the Urology Institute Kuala Lumpur from 1985 to 1986.
He is a member of prestigious organizations like the Obstetrician & Gynecologist Society of Malaysia and the Academy of Medicine, Malaysia. Dr. Abdullah obtained his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 1989, with a special interest in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
