Dr. Ashok Rajgopal is one of the most competent & honored Orthopaedic surgeon in India. With a crave experience of over 33 years, he has a ground-breaking record of achieving 25,000 Total Knee Replacement surgeries. He was the Honorary surgeon to the President of India. He had treated a number of well-known athletes, including Pullela Gopichand, due to his expertise in sports medicine (badminton player suffered a career threatening knee injury while playing doubles at the 1994 National Games at Pune). Dr. Rajgopal is also the first orthopaedic surgeon in India to perform Bilateral Total Knee Replacement surgery (BTKR) & Minimally Invasive (MIS) Unicompartmental surgery.
