Dr. Ashwini is a member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI). She completed her MBBS from Gandhi Medical College under Osmania University in 1982, followed by a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1990 and an MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from JJM Medical College, University of Mysore, Davangere, in 1991.
