Dr. Atma Ram Bansal is a neurologist with more than 13 years of experience. He is an epilepsy specialist who received his training at Trivandrum’s premier epilepsy centre, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Science and Technology (SCTIMST). He has successfully treated over 1100 cases of epilepsy. His areas of expertise include electroencephalography (EEG) advance reporting, long-term video-EEG monitoring, and special workup for epilepsy surgery.

Dr. Atma Ram is a key member of the Epilepsy Surgery Case Selection Team. He has been published in a number of prestigious international journals. Dr. Bansal contributed a chapter on primary reading epilepsy to an international book on epilepsies. He created and implemented an epilepsy protocol at Medanta Institute of Neurosciences with the goal of providing quality care to epilepsy patients. His goal is to create an epilepsy support group in order to assist and provide comprehensive care.
