Brief About Dr. Burak Orhan
Dr. Burak Orhan, a highly regarded Neurosurgeon with over two decades of experience, is based in Istanbul, Turkey. He currently serves as a Consultant at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental. Dr. Orhan specializes in various areas including Spine Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, and Brain and Spinal Cord Tumor Surgery. He obtained his medical degree from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and subsequently completed his specialized training in Neurosurgery at the same institution in 2002. Dr. Orhan is actively involved in professional organizations such as the Turkish Society of Hematology, the Hematology Specialization Association, and the European Society of Hematology. His research findings have been published in reputable National and International journals. Dr. Orhan’s special interests lie in Skull base Neurosurgery, Vascular Neurosurgery (Open & Endovascular), Craniovertebral junction surgery, and Neuro-Oncology (Awake Surgery, Brain Mapping, and Intraoperative monitoring).
