Dr. Burçin Batman completed his medical education at Fırat University and his specialization at Istanbul University (Çapa). He fulfilled his compulsory service at Muş Bulanık State Hospital and received advanced training in Robotic Surgery (IRCAD, France) and Intraoperative Radiotherapy (Royal Free Hospital, London).
With over 1000 obesity and metabolic surgery cases in 6 years, Dr. Batman specializes in Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Balloon, and Metabolic Surgeries, alongside experience in Colorectal, Endocrine, and Hernia Surgeries, as well as anal region disorders.
He was among the founding faculty at İstinye University Faculty of Medicine (2016–2020), where he earned the title of Associate Professor. Since 2020, he has been working in a private clinic, focusing exclusively on obesity and metabolic surgery.
