Brief About Dr. C R K Prasad
Dr. C R K Prasad is a highly experienced Surgical Gastroenterologist with over 22 years of expertise. He is a member of the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India and has completed his MBBS in 1989 from Dr. B R Ambedkar Medical College. In 1992, he obtained his MS degree and went on to pursue fellowships in Minimally Access Surgery, Association of India Surgeons, and the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons. Dr. Prasad has also received specialized training in bariatric surgery in Belgium and has been awarded a gold medal in MS general surgery. His areas of expertise include colonic, bariatric, abdominal trauma, hernia, piles, pancreatic, colorectal, and laser surgeries.
He is also skilled in treating conditions such as fundoplication, gall bladder issues, appendicitis, and pilonidal sinus. Dr. Prasad has actively participated in various conferences, workshops, and has conducted over 500 free health camps for social organizations. He has also contributed case studies to renowned medical journals. Dr. Prasad’s special interests lie in abdominal trauma surgery, colonic surgery, bariatric surgery, colorectal cancers, advanced laparoscopic surgeries, hernia surgery, laser piles, laser fissure, laser fistula, pilonidal sinus, fundoplication, gallbladder, appendicitis, circumcision, pancreatic surgeries, colorectal surgeries, and laser surgeries.
