Brief About Dr. Chirag Desai
Dr. Chirag Desai is a highly experienced Surgical Gastroenterologist based in Gandhinagar, India. With over 19 years of experience, he specializes in performing surgeries of the GI tract and treating gastrointestinal cancers. Dr. Desai is affiliated with various regional, national, and international medical societies, including the Ahmedabad Surgeons Association, Gujarat State Surgeon’s Association, Gujarat State Chapter of ASI, Indian Medical Association, Indian Association of Gastrointestinal EndoSurgeons, Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia, and the Association of Surgical Gastroenterology.
In addition to his regional and national affiliations, Dr. Desai has also been recognized internationally as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He completed his medical education at NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, and further pursued his MS at Seth KM School of Postgraduate Medicine and Research. Dr. Desai is a qualified DNB professional and has obtained FRCS degrees from Edinburgh and Glasgow. He also completed a Fellowship at the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute in Ahmedabad.
