Brief About Dr. D. S. Gambhir
Dr. D. S. Gambhir is a highly experienced Cardiologist based in Noida, India, with a career spanning over 37 years. He is currently serving as the Director at Kailash Hospital and Heart Institute.
Dr. Gambhir specializes in complex and multivessel angioplasty, along with other coronary interventions. He obtained his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College in 1973, MD in General Medicine from the University of Delhi in 1977, and DM in Cardiology from the University of Delhi in 1981. A member of the Cardiological Society of India and the Indian College of Cardiology, Dr. Gambhir has authored 115 original papers in national and international journals. He also leads various national and international drug and device trials as the Principal Investigator.
Dr. Gambhir has been honored with the Padma Shri Award by the President of India in 2016, as well as a State Award by the Government of Delhi, a “Life Time Achievement Award” from the Delhi Medical Association, and accolades from several state branches of IMA. With a track record of over 15,000 successful coronary interventions, Dr. Gambhir’s special interests lie in Angioplasty – PTCA, Coronary Angiogram, and CT Coronary Angiography.
