Brief About Dr. Debasis Das
Dr Debasis Das, a renowned CTVS surgeon, is affiliated with Narayana Superspeciality Hospital in Shibpur, Howrah, and NH Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences. With 26 years of experience in CTVS surgery, he has served as an expert in multiple cities across India, including RTIICS in Kolkata and Fortis Hospital in Noida.
Dr Das has successfully managed numerous complex medical cases, demonstrating a commitment to accurate diagnosis and compassionate patient care. His areas of expertise include Congenital Cardiac Surgery, Neonatal Complex Surgeries, Adult Cardiac Surgery, and Surgery for heart failure such as Assist Devices and Heart Transplantation. Additionally, he is an active member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) and the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS).
Dr Das obtained his MS in General Surgery from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi in 2002, followed by an MCh in Cardiac Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh in 2005. He furthered his training with a fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery from The Children Hospital Westmead, Sydney in 2009. Dr Das has engaged in research activities, workshops, and has authored several publications in the field of CTVS surgery.
