About Dr. Fadel Khaled Husrom
Dr. Fadel Khaled Husrom is currently working at NMC as a Consultant Pediatrician and Pediatric Cardiologist. He completed his Bachelor’s in Medicine & Surgery from Aleppo University, followed by an Arab Board degree in Pediatrics and a Master’s in Pediatric Cardiology from Damascus University. He is certified by both the Arab Board of Pediatrics and the Syrian Board of Pediatric Cardiology.
Dr. Fadel is also a certified instructor in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) by the American Heart Association.
With over 12 years of experience in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology across the Middle East, including the UAE, Dr. Fadel has played a pivotal role in launching the Pediatric Cardiac Care Clinic in Damascus, where he managed clinical outcomes and introduced advanced technologies to aid faster recovery and improved patient management.
His areas of expertise include treating various pediatric and neonatal diseases, as well as managing congenital and acquired pediatric heart diseases from infancy to 14 years old. He is proficient in performing echocardiograms and electrocardiograms for children.
Dr. Fadel has also completed several specialized courses, including the Neonatal Resuscitation Course (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). He has authored several publications, including the “Second Edition: Pocket Guidebook of Pediatrics,” which is a valuable resource for pediatric residents.
