Brief About Dr. Feryal Ilkova
Dr. Feryal İlkova is a highly experienced medical gastroenterologist based in Istanbul, Turkey. With over 33 years of practice, she has established herself as a prominent figure in the field. Dr. İlkova’s clinical interests encompass a wide range of areas, including Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Liver diseases, Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy, Diseases of the biliary tree, ERCP, capsule endoscopy, enteroscopy, stent implantation for gastrointestinal stenosis, diagnosis and treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease.
In addition to her extensive experience, Dr. İlkova is a respected professor and a member of the Turkish Society of Gastroenterology. She has made significant contributions to the field, having established the Gastroenterology Division at Memorial Hospital in 2000.
Dr. İlkova’s educational background is equally impressive. She graduated from Istanbul University in 1989 and completed her residency in internal medicine from the same institution in 1995. She further pursued a fellowship in gastroenterology from Istanbul University in 1999 and Baylor College of Medicine, Texas in 1998.
