Brief About Dr. Gulsevim Azizlerli
Dr. Gulsevim Azizlerli is one of Turkey’s most well-known and skilled dermatologists and considered among the top 10 Dermatologists in Turkey. Dr. Gülsevim Azizlerli, a highly experienced dermatologist with over 37 years of practice, currently serves as the Director at the American Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. She obtained her medical degree from Istanbul University in 1972 and completed her residency in dermatology at the same institution in 1977. In 1980, she established the immunofluorescent laboratory, as well as the Behçet’s disease and bullous disease outpatient clinics. Dr. Gülsevim has made significant contributions to the field, having served as the general secretary of the Association for Prevention of Behçet’s Disease for a decade and the Association of Skin and Venereal Diseases for two years.
Dr. Gülsevim has authored numerous publications in both national and international journals. Her areas of expertise include acne, cold sores, hives, actinic keratosis, rosacea, carbuncles, eczema, cellulitis, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma.
