Brief About Dr. Gurvinder Singh Sawhney
Dr. Gurvinder Singh Sawhney is a highly esteemed Orthopedic surgeon with over 35 years of experience. He specializes in various areas such as joint replacements, fracture treatment, joint dislocation, neck pain, knee pain, frozen shoulder treatment, arthritis, knee replacement, and more. Dr. Sawhney received the prestigious Dr. Dastook Gold Medal for achieving the 1st Rank in FCPS Orthopedics in 1986. In addition, he was honored with the SarvaShree Award Mumbai in 2005.
Dr. Sawhney completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital Mumbai in 1982. He then pursued his MS in Orthopedics, ranking 3rd in his University in 1985. Furthermore, he obtained his FCPS in Orthopedics from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Mumbai in 1986. He also holds a Fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery from Singapore General Hospital, which he acquired in 1987. Currently, Dr. Sawhney is an active member of the Indian Orthopedic Association and the Indian Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery.
