Brief About Dr. Ila Tyagi
Dr. Ila Tyagi is a highly qualified and experienced Gynecologist and Obstetrician based in Mumbai, India. With over 20 years of experience in the field of women’s reproductive health, she is well-versed in providing comprehensive care to her patients. Dr. Tyagi obtained her MBBS degree from the University of Poona in 1991, followed by an MS degree from the same university in 1993. She further pursued a diploma in obstetrics & gynecology (DGO) in 1995 and achieved a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) qualification in 1997. In 2000, she completed her diploma of the faculty of family planning. Dr. Tyagi has also received certifications in IUI, laparoscopic surgeries, and ultrasonography from The Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India, making her one of the few OBGYNs with such credentials. Her expertise lies in the treatment of menopause, infertility, and high-risk pregnancies, and she has a keen interest in oncology and laparoscopic surgeries.
Dr. Tyagi provides comprehensive care for conditions related to the female reproductive system and pelvic region, including menstrual problems, pre- and post-pregnancy care, and treatment for ovarian cysts. She is skilled in performing procedures such as medical termination of pregnancy, assisted hatching, Cesarean section, child immunization services, diet planning during and after pregnancy, endometriosis treatment, and finding donor options. Dr. Tyagi has achieved success rates of 55% in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), 39% in IUI, and 88% in surrogacy cases. While she has only a few researched articles to her credit, her focus areas include myomectomy (laparoscopic & robotic), hysterectomy (laparoscopic & robotic), endometriosis excision surgery (laparoscopic & robotic), diagnostic and operative hysteroscopic surgery, urinary incontinence surgery, and all gynecological issues from adolescence to menopause.
