Brief About Dr. Jagdishwar Goud Gajagowni
Dr. Jagdishwar Goud Gajagowni is a highly regarded Surgical Oncologist with an extensive experience of over 24 years. He currently serves as the national head of the robotic surgery department at the American Oncology Institute and is also the head of Surgical Oncology.
Dr. Jagdishwar obtained his MBBS degree from Osmania University in 1989 and completed his MS in General Surgery from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences in 1994, Andhra Pradesh. He further pursued an MCh in Oncology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 1999, Bangalore. With his vast expertise, he specializes in various surgical procedures including robotic surgery, robotic esophagectomy with nodal dissection, low anterior resection, thoracoscopic surgery, and laparoscopy.
Dr. Jagdishwar is an active member of prestigious organizations such as the Archaeological Survey of India, Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India, and Indian Association of Surgical Oncology. Currently, he holds the position of Vice President at the South Zone Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India. His special interests lie in the fields of Onco gynecology, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology, and Radical Hysterectomy.
