Brief About Dr. Jatin Kothari
Dr. Jatin Kothari is a renowned Nephrologist and Kidney Transplant Surgeon based in Mumbai, India. With over three decades of experience, he specializes in Dialysis and Kidney transplantation, including living related, deceased donor, swaps, and dominos.
Dr. Kothari completed his MBBS, MD, and DM from GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai, in 1993, 1996, and 1999 respectively. He further honed his skills through training with the International Society of Nephrology.
Dr. Kothari was honored with the Best Paper Award at the Indian Society of Nephrology Conference in 1999. He is a fellow of prestigious institutions such as the University of Toronto, the University of Missouri Columbia, the University of Edinburgh, and the Indian Society of Nephrology.
Additionally, he is an esteemed member of various international nephrology societies, including the International Society of Nephrology, the International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis, the European Dialysis Transplant Association, the European Renal Association, and the Indian Society of Nephrology. Dr. Kothari’s special interests lie in Chronic urinary tract infections, Acute renal failure, and Stage 4 or 5 chronic kidney disease.
