Dr. K.V. Raja Sekhara Rao is a highly experienced and renowned cardiac surgeon based in Hyderabad, India. With 27 years of expertise in the field, he specializes in cardiothoracic surgeries and heart transplants. Dr. Rao is well-versed in various areas, including heart failure and transplant surgeries, ECMO and ventricular assist devices, off pump CABG surgeries, valve repair and minimal access valve surgeries, adult congenital heart surgeries, and adult thoracic surgeries including VATS.
Previously, Dr. Rao served as the chief cardiothoracic surgeon and associate medical director at Aditya Care Hospitals in Bubaneshwar. He is a respected member of prestigious medical associations such as the Indian Medical Association, Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Indian Society of Thoracic Surgeons and Trust, Indian Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, and Pediatric Cardiac Society of India.
