Dr. Kalpana Kothari is a well-known Senior Gynaec Cancer Specialist in Ahemdabad. After receiving her M.B.B.S. and M.D. (Obst. & Gynae & Neonatology) degrees from B. J. Medical College in 1988, she went on to further her education in Vulvar Colposcopy and Surgeries for Vulvar Malignancies at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Kalpana Kothari also went to Hammersmith Hospital in the United Kingdom for additional training in colposcopy and the most recent management of pre-invasive and invasive cervical lesions. The doctor specialises in cervical cancer detection and prevention, as well as conservative management of the disease. She has organised more than 52 camps in rural Gujarat in collaboration with the Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, the state’s main oncology institute.
