Dr. Karibasavaraja Neelagar is a highly skilled Urologist and Andrologist Consultant based in Bangalore, India. With over 20 years of experience in the field, he has established himself as an expert in various urological procedures.
Dr. Neelagar’s expertise lies in Adult and Paediatric urethral reconstructive surgeries, including Single stage Exstrophy-Epispadias repair and Redo Hypospadias repair. He is also proficient in Laparoscopic Urology, Kidney transplants, and Prostate surgeries. Additionally, he has extensive experience in Laparoscopic and robotic uro-oncological and Uro-gynecological procedures, such as Partial nephrectomy, Nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy, Robot Assisted Hysterectomy, Sacrocolpopexy, and Complex Reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Neelagar is certified as a Da Vinci console-certified robotic surgeon and has a special interest in pediatric minimal-access urology. He has successfully performed over 300 LASER-enabled prostate surgeries, BMG urethroplasties, and 100 kidney transplants, in addition to routine endourological procedures for kidney stones.
Dr. Neelagar completed his medical education, including MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davangere, Karnataka in 2002, MS (General Surgery) from Sri Devraj URS Medical College, Kolar in 2006, and DNB (Genito-Urinary Surgery) from NBE, New Delhi in 2013. He further pursued his Urology training at the prestigious St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore. Dr. Neelagar is a visiting specialist in the Middle East and also serves as a faculty member at the National Board of Examinations (DNB).
