Dr. Kavitha is a distinguished Endocrinologist and General Physician based in Bangalore, India, with over 16 years of experience in the medical field. She obtained her M.B.B.S from K.A.P Viswanathan Government Medical College, Tiruchirappalli in 2002, followed by a DNB in Family Medicine from Apollo BGS Hospital, Mysore in 2010.
Dr. Kavitha furthered her education by earning a Masters in Health Sciences Diabetology from Annamalai University, Chidambaram in 2013, and a post-graduate diploma in Geriatric Medicine from M.S. Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, Bangalore. Her areas of expertise within Diabetology include Weight Management in Type 2 Diabetes, Early-onset Type 2 Diabetes, Gestational diabetes, Mellitus Beyond Diabetes, as well as a keen interest in Executive health check-ups.
Dr. Kavitha has contributed to numerous national and international publications and conducted research on the correlation between Anthropometric measurements such as BMI, WHR, WC, and diabetes control. Her special interests also extend to Pituitary And Adrenal Disorders, Growth Problems, Sexual Health, Hormonal Disorders, and Bone Health.
