- He has performed more than 6,000 pediatric cardiac surgeries, including some of the most complex procedures, and is widely respected for his precision and compassionate approach.
- He is globally recognized as the surgical pioneer of the first series of DCD (Donation after Circulatory Death) heart transplants, performed with his team at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, Australia.
- Dr. Dhital is a science graduate (BSc) with a research degree (PhD) from the University of London and obtained his medical degree (BMBCh) from the University of Oxford.
