Brief About Dr. Kunaselan Muthiah
Dr. Kunaselan Muthiah is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon with two decades of experience specializing in arthroscopy and sports medicine, foot and ankle surgery, hand and wrist surgery, hip surgery, knee surgery, and shoulder surgery. He serves as a Senior Consultant at Pantai Hospital Cheras in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Dr. Muthiah is highly skilled in treating complex musculoskeletal trauma, pelvic and acetabulum surgery, deformity correction surgery for adults and children, bone lengthening surgery, and hand and microsurgery. He also has expertise in managing complex fractures, bone loss, bone infection, and bone deformities using the Ilizarov method and limb reconstruction system.
Dr. Muthiah has received training both locally and internationally, including in Italy, Germany, and Bangladesh. He is a respected member of ASAMI, Malaysia, and obtained his MBBS from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad, and completed his Masters in Orthopedic Surgery at the University Malaya.
