Brief About Dr. Leong Kin Wah
Dr. Leong Kin Wah, a distinguished Medical Oncologist in Penang, Malaysia, has been practicing for more than three decades. He specializes in the treatment of cancers and blood disorders, with a particular focus on breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, lymphomas, and leukaemias. Dr. Leong Kin Wah initiated bone marrow/stem cell transplantation at Gleneagles Hospital, Penang in 2004.
He is a member of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (AMM) and the American Society of Clinical Oncologists. Dr. Leong Kin Wah has numerous publications, journals, and articles to his credit. He earned his MBBS degree from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1988, followed by a Diploma in Haematology from the Royal College of Pathologists, UK in 1997.
He also obtained MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, UK in 1991 and FRCP from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK in 2000. Dr. Leong Kin Wah is proficient in English, Bahasa Melayu, Hokkien, and Cantonese. His special interests include Haematology, Oncology, and General Medicine.
