Dr. Levent Tabak is a pulmonologist with 29 years of expertise and a professor at American Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. He completed his studies at Istanbul University in 1984 and his residency at Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1991. His clinical interests include tuberculosis, asthma, COPD, bronchitis, lung malignancies, interstitial lung diseases, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, pulmonary hypertension, and other conditions that cause shortness of breath and chest pain. He was awarded the second prize among the overseas publications that the Thoracic Society had chosen. In all, he has had 51 publications published in domestic journals and 16 articles published in international scientific journals.
