Until now, he has performed over 1100 joint replacement surgeries, 5000 orthopedic surgical procedures, 1000 arthroscopy surgeries, 800 shoulder surgeries, and 300 pelvic-acetabular surgeries. In South India, he has performed the most Pelvic Acetabular Surgeries.
Dr. Veerappa has given over 40 research papers at national and international conferences. He has ten journal publications and has written textbook chapters. Dr. Veerappa has led a number of workshops to train Young Orthopedic Surgeons.
