Brief About Dr. Loong Yik Yee
Dr. Loong Yik Yee, a distinguished Medical Gastroenterologist in Selangor, Malaysia, brings with him 26 years of extensive experience in managing gastric conditions.
His expertise lies in the treatment of fatty liver disease, peptic ulcer, hepatitis, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Dr. Yee obtained his BSc in 1993 and MD in 1995 from University Kebangsaan Malaysia. He furthered his qualifications by becoming a member of the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom, in 2001.
Actively involved in various medical societies, including the Malaysian Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Malaysian Medical Association, Malaysian Hypertension Society, Malaysian Healthy Ageing Society, and Malaysian Society of Infectious Diseases and Chemotherapy, Dr. Yee’s special interests include capsule endoscopy, colonoscopy, intragastric balloons insertion, and oesophago-gastric duodenoscopy.
