Brief About Dr. Mahadevan B
Dr. Mahadevan B is a highly experienced Medical Gastroenterologist based in Chennai, India. With a remarkable 21 years of experience, he is recognized as the Head of Department at Gleneagles Global Hospital. Dr. B. Mahadevan specializes in a wide range of therapeutic procedures for hepatobiliary diseases and luminal disorders. These include ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatogram), EUS (Endoscopic ultrasound), POEM (Per Oral Endoscopic Myotomy) for Achalasia cardia, and ESD (Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection) for early gastrointestinal cancers.
Dr. Mahadevan’s educational background is equally impressive, with an MBBS, MD (Pediatrics) from JIPMER, and DM (Gastroenterology). He has undergone specialized training in ERCP and EUS in 2009, as well as advanced ESD/POEM training at Zhongshan University Hospital and West China Hospital in China in 2019.
